Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has directed the State Information and Communication Development Agency (KASITDA) to introduce a newly developed digital application for the Urban Planning Office in line with the State’s Digital Transformation Agenda (DTA).

Bashir Abdu Muzakkari Director General Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority, KNUPDA, stated this during a strategic working visit to the Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA). He said the initiative is designed to drive a seamless transition to electronic governance (e-Governance).
Muzakkari explained that the project targets key sectors, including Health, Justice, and Lands Administration, enabling them to digitize operations and significantly improve the speed, quality, and accessibility of services delivered to the people of Kano State. Describing the initiative as a transformative, cross-cutting intervention.
He noted that, when fully implemented, it will enhance operational efficiency, strengthen urban regulatory compliance, and improve transparency and security in government processes.
