President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr Bisoye Coker-Odusote, on her 41st birthday.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the President lauded the NIMC chief for deploying new technologies to expand the commission’s reach in identity data capture, and for elevating the nation’s identity data management system to new levels of access, reliability, and integration with Nigeria’s development agenda.
”Engr Coker-Odusote has distinguished herself at the helm of NIMC by effectively mobilising staff and fostering collaboration with heads of sister agencies.
“I commend the creativity of Bisoye in building lasting structures and operations and in taking the identity data management system to new levels of access, reliability, and integration into the national development plan.
“Noteworthy is her diligence in compiling and providing reliable identity data, which helps the planning and implementation of government programmes, especially for security and infrastructure,” the President said.
The President also celebrated the former General Manager of the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency, noting that her exemplary leadership continues to inspire a new generation of young people, particularly women, in public service.
He encouraged the NIMC Director-General to sustain the momentum and wished her good health, renewed strength, and continued success as she marks the occasion.
