The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will begin digital membership registration across all wards in the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory on Monday, 2 March.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Ini Ememobong, announced the schedule in a statement on Sunday in Abuja.
Ememobong said the registration exercise will run for three weeks and is aimed at compiling a digital membership register in compliance with the Electoral Act 2026, which requires political parties to submit their digital membership lists to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The registration will take place daily, except on Sundays, at all PDP wards, chapters, and state offices throughout the exercise. Special cases will be addressed at the national secretariat.
“A special committee, led by the National Organising Secretary, Mr Theophilus Daka Shan, has been established to oversee the exercise and address any complaints that may arise,” Ememobong said.
He encouraged party members and members of the public to visit their nearest PDP office within their ward to register.
“For further information or enquiries, please call 08035555800 or send an email to info@iampdp.org,” he added.
