Trump Ends Endorsement of Marjorie Taylor Greene

President Donald Trump has withdrawn his endorsement of Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, severing ties with one of his formerly most loyal supporters, Reuters reported.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump said: “I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the great state of Georgia.”

He accused Greene of “constantly complaining” and said polls indicate she has little chance of winning a future Senate or gubernatorial race without his backing. Trump also signalled that he would support a primary challenger against her in next year’s midterm elections.

According to Reuters, the rift follows Greene’s recent public criticisms of the former president. She has challenged him on issues including trade policy, foreign affairs and his claims that inflation is under control.

Greene has also demanded greater transparency in the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, pushing for the release of related files and questioning whether Trump is resisting full disclosure.

In response to Trump’s decision, Greene accused him of lying and attempting to intimidate other Republicans ahead of a planned vote on the Epstein records.

The escalating dispute underscores mounting tensions within Trump’s political circle and marks a significant realignment in their long-standing relationship.
