The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced a 24-man Super Eagles squad for next week’s 2026 FIFA World Cup African Play-off Tournament in Rabat, Morocco.
Captain William Ekong, star forward Victor Osimhen, goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, and defender Calvin Bassey headline the squad. Experienced midfielder Alex Iwobi, defenders Benjamin Fredericks and Frank Onyeka, midfielders Wilfred Ndidi and Raphael Onyedika, and forwards Samuel Chukwueze and Ademola Lookman are also included.
The Super Eagles will face Gabon in the first semi-final at the 22,000‑capacity Complexe Sportif Prince Héritier Moulay Al Hassan, while Cameroon take on the Democratic Republic of Congo in the other semi-final. Defender Oluwasemilogo Ajayi, suspended for one match after accumulating two yellow cards during the qualifying campaign, will miss the clash with Gabon.
Other recalls include goalkeeper Maduka Okoye and Spain-based forward Chidera Ejuke, with forwards Tolu Arokodare, Jerome Akor Adams, and Olusegun Olakunle completing the roster.
The squad will converge in Rabat on Monday, 10 November, flying in from their various club bases across Europe and beyond.
