NCS Implements New Procedure for Courier Companies’ Operations

The Nigerian Government has launched the Customs Verification Management System (CVMS), a major digital innovation aimed at transforming the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) into a fully automated and intelligent customs administration.

The CVMS is a comprehensive digital platform designed to enhance the verification of customs documents, ensure the authenticity of clearance procedures, and promote greater integrity and transparency across all levels of operation. By centralising verification in a secure digital system, the CVMS is expected to drastically reduce manual processing, minimise errors, and accelerate trade facilitation.
