Renowned Nigerian photojournalist Aishatu Shateema Bukar, widely known as Aisha Rabo, has reached another milestone in her illustrious journey by emerging as 3rd Runner-Up at the African Empire Reality TV Show Season 3 – Heroes Edition, held between July 29 and August 20, 2025.
A native of Bauchi State, Rabo has built a distinguished journalism career spanning over a decade.
She currently serves as Defence Correspondent with OurNigeria News Magazine and OurNigeriaTV24. Her career path also includes roles as Reporter and Marketer with Neptune Prime Online Newspaper and Public Relations Assistant at the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), where she sharpened her skills in media relations, corporate communications, and audience engagement.

Her performance on the reality show highlighted not only her charisma but also her capacity to inspire and connect with audiences beyond the newsroom.
This accomplishment joins her list of notable recognitions, which include winning the 17th edition of the Master at Photos Contest (April 2025) and representing Nigeria at the Africa Security Watch Conference in The Gambia (2022).
