Governor Dauda Lawal has launched a statewide stakeholder engagement initiative with the Zamfara chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to assess party performance and discuss key issues affecting the state.
According to a statement on Wednesday by his media aide, Sulaiman Idris, the engagement is intended to provide a platform for strategic discussions on political and developmental matters.
The first meeting took place on Tuesday at the Rescue Hall in the Government House, Gusau, bringing together PDP stakeholders from Gummi and Maru Local Government Areas.
Idris explained that the initiative allows the governor to engage directly with party members, hear their concerns, receive advice, and evaluate conditions in their communities.

“In the coming weeks, Governor Lawal will host PDP stakeholders from all 14 local government areas of Zamfara State,” Idris said.
He added that the engagement highlights the PDP’s continued strength and influence across the state.
