The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Mrs Nancy Sabanti Nathan as the Acting Head of Service of the FCT Administration (FCTA).
Her appointment follows the passing of the former Head of Service, Mrs Grace Adayilo, who died on 1 September after a brief illness.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications, Lere Olayinka.
Until her appointment, Nathan was the Permanent Secretary of the Youth Development Secretariat in the FCTA. She had also previously served as Director of Finance and Administration in the office of the FCT Minister.
The statement described her as “a seasoned administrator with vast experience in public service,” noting that her elevation was aimed at ensuring stability and continuity in the administration.
