China Appoints New Party Chiefs in Three Regions

The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee has appointed new Party chiefs for Xizang Autonomous Region, Gansu and Qinghai provinces.

Hu Changsheng has been named Party chief of Xizang, replacing Wang Junzheng. He previously headed Gansu.

Wu Xiaojun, formerly Party chief of Qinghai, has been appointed to lead Gansu.

Luo Dongchuan has succeeded Wu as Party chief of Qinghai.
