APC Launches Campaign for Tinubu’s Re-election in Adamawa

The All-Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State has commenced its campaign for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and the party’s National Assembly candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The campaign launch brought together party leaders and supporters, who pledged to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and secure a decisive victory for the APC across the state.

Speaking at the rally on behalf of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Deputy Governor Kaletapwa Farauta described the event as the start of a broader political mobilisation aimed at promoting continuity and supporting the Federal Government’s development agenda.

Farauta praised President Tinubu’s policies and programmes, saying they were contributing to efforts to reposition the country.

She urged residents of Adamawa to support the APC in the 2027 elections, assuring party supporters that the state would intensify efforts to secure votes for the President and the party’s senatorial and House of Representatives candidates.

“We will go door-to-door, house-to-house, village-to-village and stand shoulder-to-shoulder to ensure that APC wins overwhelmingly in Adamawa State,” Farauta said.

APC Seeks Continuity for Tinubu’s Reforms

Speaking for the senatorial and National Assembly candidates, Mustapha Salihu described the rally as an important milestone in the party’s preparations for the 2027 elections.

Salihu said Nigeria had made progress in addressing some of its economic and social challenges and argued that continuity in leadership would allow the government to consolidate its ongoing reforms.

He urged voters to back President Tinubu and APC candidates, saying sustained implementation of government policies would help strengthen development efforts.

Salihu said the campaign was initiated by the North-East Door-to-Door Movement before receiving the backing of the Adamawa State Government.#

He also thanked Governor Fintiri and the people of Adamawa for supporting the mobilisation effort.

Party Targets Grassroots Support

The Adamawa APC Chairman, Hamza Madagali, thanked supporters for turning out for the campaign launch and called on members to take the campaign to communities across the state.

He urged party members to engage voters in homes, markets, settlements and places of worship as the party seeks support for Tinubu and its National Assembly candidates.

Madagali said grassroots mobilisation would be crucial to the APC’s performance in the 2027 elections, stressing the need for sustained engagement with voters across the state’s 21 local government areas.

The North-East National Coordinator of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Campaign Movement also commended APC leaders and supporters for their participation.

Meanwhile, the North-East Zonal Coordinator of the Bring Back Door-to-Door Movement, Zakari Hashimu, pledged to mobilise 10 million votes for Tinubu in the 2027 election.

He said the group would continue its grassroots campaign to promote the President’s re-election and the APC’s candidates across the region.
