The Kebbi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the reinstatement of Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics.
Sani-Giant was suspended on February 28, 2025, for allegedly bringing a snake into the Government House to intimidate dignitaries, officials, and statesmen on the 8th of the same month.
A statement issued on Monday in Birnin Kebbi by Alhaji Muhammad Kana-Zuru, the State Chairman of the APC, stated that the reinstatement takes immediate effect.

According to Kana-Zuru, the State Working Committee (SWC) of the APC, during its meeting held on Tuesday, reviewed an apology letter submitted by Sani-Giant and resolved to lift the suspension.
“The committee resolved to reinstate your membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
You are, therefore, by this letter, directed to continue with your normal responsibilities.
Your rights and privileges are hereby restored,” Kana–Zuru said.
