Popular Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has finally responded to speculation surrounding her decision to keep her husband, Mr Ezerika, away from public attention.
Speaking on the Dear Ife podcast, hosted by Diary of a Naija Girl, Kadiri clarified that her marriage is private, not because of secrecy, but due to her preference to avoid unnecessary drama.
The mother of two explained that her husband is actively involved in her public life, noting that they often attend events together.
“My life isn’t as private as people assume,” she said. “We go to church together, we attend events together, and in events I organise, my husband is always present.”

Kadiri further revealed that her husband prefers to maintain a low profile and expressed confusion over the public’s expectations that she should constantly display her marriage.
“For clarity, my husband is not a secret. People who know me, know him. And for me, that’s enough. I don’t understand why I should sit and feel the need to prove anything,” she said.
