The Kogi State Government has restated its dedication to using data-driven strategies to enhance healthcare delivery across the state.
The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adeiza Abdulazeez, made this known during the 2025 Quarterly Performance Dialogue held in Lokoja on Monday.
Speaking through the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Mr. Steven Momoh, Abdulazeez emphasized that data-informed decision-making remains essential for strengthening healthcare systems and improving service delivery.
“We are committed to leveraging data for meaningful transformation in our healthcare system,” the commissioner said.
“This initiative is key to making real progress in improving health outcomes and the overall well-being of our people. We look forward to implementing the strategies and recommendations developed during this dialogue.”
He expressed confidence that the session would generate actionable insights that would support continued improvements in the sector.
Dr. Emmanuel Bola Jonah, the Desk Officer for the Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp) in Kogi, noted that the forum was designed to review key health indicators at both the state and local levels.
